πŸ€ While not the first time I have won my group march madness brackets, it's the first time I have at least tied for first place despite not having a team left to play the next three games.

What a weird year. I knew college rankings were wacky this year, but I could go on for a while about how we got here.

πŸ€ Narrator: They benched him, put him back in to flounder before they pulled him out.

@chrishas35 I started to publish but struggled with the wording, "Can't hate to see the thing that no one actually hates to see."

πŸ€ PS: He's going to foul out too.

πŸ€ Who has two thumbs and is not even in the least bit surprised that Gonzaga got blown out by 30, possibly 40 points to end Timme's college career? IT ME!!!

@randomgeek burn. Which ts library hurt you?

@ehmatthes close but the 10-ounce steel wine glass tumbler.

@zecege I did and the brisket. It was respectable given other Texas BBQ I have had.

@dgouldin where else should one seek out while traveling through Texas? πŸ‘€

β›½ Friends, I have experienced Buc-ee's for the first time this week. It's one of the smaller ones near Surfside Beach, Texas but I sort-of see the appeal.

🍹 we are on our first family vacation since the pandemic began and possibly my first with my parents and siblings since I was a teenager.

@adamchainz I appreciate the heads up.

Turns out we ran out of space from old images hanging around then Redis fell over.

@adamchainz thanks for the heads up. Looking now. I drove 700 miles on a family trip and just checked the internet.

Fixing a caddy issue it seems.

πŸ€ Round of 64 - Day 1: I picked 13 out of 16 games correctly which puts me more accurate than 99% of all brackets.

Not bad, and my max points still has quite a bit of headroom.

πŸ€ Brackets down... We have officially started

πŸŽ‰ Shoutout to Maksudul Haque for the amazing and high-quality Django Package contributions over the last six months.

github.com/djangopackages/djan

Maksudul is a good follow on GitHub too: github.com/saadmk11

He has several interesting projects that are worth a few more ⭐s of support. πŸ‘

@CodenameTim @drewbrew let us know if you haven't seen it yet. I was late to work on mine but we have until 11am CT tomorrow to create/submit/join.

πŸ€ I am happy to say my basketball staycation, and then vacation officially kicked off tonight.

🀼 I have a few community things and a PSF board meeting late Friday afternoon that was moved back, but a lot of basketball mixed in over the next few days. πŸ€

❌ I am looking forward to a meeting-free week next week, which is something that I don't think I have been able to say for several years.

πŸ“Š We had a couple of interesting Django Packages milestones over the last week:

πŸ“ˆ >17k users
πŸ“ˆ >5k packages
πŸ“ˆ >350 grids

πŸš€ I personally posted my 100th package today.

There is still plenty to do, but we are slowly getting there brick by brick, week by week. πŸ’ͺ

πŸ“Š More stats on our open page.

@drewbrew @paulox @phildini @brettcannon @mariatta sadly, Docker "Official Image" is about as official as we have.

@greg @CodenameTim I suspect I'll be quizzing you for notes in a month or so. I am hoping to only move once.

@greg the documentary is great, plus there are always a few good stories every year that is fun to read as people discover them for the first time. Sounds like pure hell to me.

@greg, since there is little to no visibility, do you want a live stream of Laz smoking and kicking people out for a day?

@benjaminhollon @wsvincent it's not perfect, but it catches more than it flubs to me. Then it gives me a chance to clarify those flubs because it's normally a sign that I need to re-word it either way.
